Step back into old Kentucky with this timeless piece of distilling history. Master Distillers have used the Whiskey Thief for centuries to sample spirits directly from the barrel. The tool “steals” a sample by capturing the spirit inside and releasing it cleanly into a glass. There’s no better way to test a batch than tasting it the old-fashioned way.
Each Vendome Small Whiskey Thief measures 5/8″ diameter x 12-5/8″ long and features solid, uncoated copper with a matching copper handle. We leave the copper natural to preserve authenticity and purity. Over time, the surface develops a rich patina. Many traditional distillers prefer this aged look. If you want a polished shine, simply use an inexpensive copper cream to restore it.
