While continuing to age and bottle our 10 Year on site, the impending year’s focus is on distilling our very own whiskey. Located in a 150-year-old renovated dairy barn, WhistlePig’s distillery is the culmination of five diligent years. Starting with 250 acres of rye grain harvested from the property, WhistlePig Rye is distilled in a unique copper pot designed by world-renowned Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, and then aged in custom charred barrels built from the farm’s very own Vermont White Oak.
This momentous undertaking has set the stage for the upcoming release of WhistlePig’s Vermont Estate Whiskey – a sustainable rye handcrafted in Vermont to rival the finest whiskeys in the world. Within five years’ time a fully integrated single estate rye will establish WhistlePig as the premier grain-to-glass distillery in America.
