Old Dominick distillery open for business in Memphis

Old Dominick Distillery is open, after more than three years and a $10 million in investment by old-line Memphis business D. Canale.

The micro-distillery at 301 South Front marked its soft opening on Monday. A grand opening is scheduled for June 24.

The distillery is offering tours and tastings at $12 a pop and selling bottled spirits in its gift shop.

Hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday and closed Tuesday.
