Mother-daughter’s Jeptha Creed opening first locally-owned distillery in Shelby County since Prohibition

The mother-daughter team of Joyce Nethery and Autumn Nethery is opening the first locally-owned distillery to come to Shelby County since Prohibition.

On Friday, Nov. 11, Jeptha Creed will open its doors to the public for tours and tastings. The farm-to-bottle bourbon and spirits craft distillery will offer three different bourbons – available in 2019 – an unflavored vodka along with honey-flavored vodka and an unflavored moonshine plus lemonade-flavored moonshine.
