KO Distilling recently received an individual award as Virginia Moonshine Distillery of the Year at the 6th Annual New York International Spirits Competition. This brings co-founders Bill Karlson and John O’Mara to a huge milestone just 2 years after founding. In addition to being awarded with this high honor, they were also awarded a Bronze Medal for their Virginia Moon White Whiskey. In receiving these honors, KO Distilling was recognized among 500 distilleries spanning across 35 countries.
